From the vineyard to the consumer with care at every step.

Experience, know-how, modern methods in sorting and processing currants in the hands of people who know and appreciate earth’s fruit.

We receive the currants already dried from the producers and the next steps are as follows:

Collection

The currants are delivered by the producers already dried and are put in big vessels.

The beginning of the procedure

The raisin is placed in the "feeder", the machine that feeds the production line and the process begins.

The production Line

The production line is in a straight layout in order to facilitate the proper separation and cleaning.

Cleaning and separation

In an initial stage of the process, a first air-cleaning and removal of foreign bodies takes place. Then follows the separation of sizes with the fruit passing through special nets.

Washing

At this stage the currants are washed with water to be further cleaned of dirt, stones or other foreign bodies.

Stem removal

The currant goes through a cutting machine where the stem of each fruit is removed.

Laser and X-Ray

The product goes through Laser and X-Ray assemblies as well as metal detectors that ensure the safety and hygiene of the product and contribute to its quality upgrade.

Last check

Currants are a delicate product. As modern as the production line might be, the final inspection is done by experienced eyes and hands.

Weighing

At this stage the final weighing of the product is done before its packaging.
